Nissan had a lot of their new 2008 vehicles on display at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit and again at the Chicago Auto Show. One of these was the Armada. The new Armada has a new front fascia, new headlight designs, and a new one piece roof rack design. The rear fascia has been re-done also.

For the exterior of the Armada, Nissan has added some new styling cues to supplement the new design changes, as well as some new, updated color schemes. There is a new halogen fog lamp design and new 20 inch wheel design.

The standard power plant for the Armada is the 5.6 liter DOHC V8 engine. It produces 317 horsepower and is available with Flex-Fuel technology. Ethanol E-85 is becoming more and more acceptable.

Inside the 2008 Armada, you will find several comfort and convenience features. This includes a 60 - 40 split third row seat that folds flat, new steering wheel illumination, lockable glove compartment, and a new heated leather 3 spoke steering wheel.

There is an enhanced Bose audio system with a Music Box hard drive. They even added third row speakers and amplifier. It has MP3 capability and XM satellite radio. The Nissan Navigation System has been revised with optional XM NavTraffic.
